what i did today

what i did today was work on the arm and the box thing, but the only thing is that im having trouble with the last point staying oriented with the ground the directions said it should but it doesnt stay oriented with the ground so ive been stuck i guess i should just work on it more tomorrow.

what i did today was work on key framing the aircraft and making it blend with the path that was already there. I realized that the blending does really come into account because for awhile the animation would play with the aircraft rotated even though the aircrafts attributes were not rotated. I realized that i keyed the attribute to blend the animation but not the one that rotated the aircraft. i forgot to key both of these attributes. But anyways i finally got it done and this is what it looked like.

what ive been doing

today what i was doing was creating a set driven so that the ball would travel under the door and the door would raise up when the ball was close.


What i also worked on was the path animation it was really easy but i didn't really get to finish but im going to finish it next class and then do the arm.

Animation

what i did today was mostly work on the animation it took awhile just to understand what they wanted me to and also i sometimes forget where all of the tools are. so it took me a little while longer to scale and do the graphing stuff

Salt Shaker

What i did today also is make a shalt shaker it was very easy actually lol. But i felt like it was to short of a lesson but it was fun

egg in the cup

What i did today was create a cup with an egg in the cup. yep that is what i did but the only thing was that for awhile i was a little lost on how to do all of the sculpting but then i figured it out so its all good now. i added a little bit of a chin and also some eyeballs .

What i did today

Today i worked on just creteaking Mr. Cornell's website. but i also got a hole lot of the egg holder and the egg head.

the blog is well layed out, i like all of the detail and the stuff that he goes through to tell you what he uses when he runs or when he is training for the race. Although some of the stuff that he talks about can be a little lengthy but that's okay sometimes, but sometimes it goes on a little to much and i tend to loose attention on the paragraph not to say that what he is writing about is boring it just is kind of long. But you can tell that he took his time to make the website to the best of his ability and it is a very entertaining website.

What i did today beveling

What i did today was work on the cube and beveling and extruding the edges. it wasn't hard at all really, actually extremely easy haha. I also just worked on the cube thats about it.

What i did today 9/9/11

i worked on getting this bevel stuff right. and i just made these and i still have to do the egg and the salt shaker. and i had a hard time but i couldnt get the edges to work with me it kept on doing something weird even though all the settings were generally right so idk what i did.

Today

Today i worked on the egg in the cup and finishing the temple but i havent gotten that far on the egg in the cup thing

What i did today 9/2/11

Today i just worked on finishing my temple thing. i worked on making the top of the roof so like the very point of it. I also worked on the stairs to the temple and the triangle things beside the stairs. It wasn't that hard it just was trying to find the right way to do it. I also worked on just rendering the color so all of the color matches. The only thing that i did not render to be the same color is the stairs itself.
